We all know that Google is the best way to find what you need on the web (or at least 56.9% of of us do according to the search stats) but simple search isn’t all that Google can do for you. Despite it’s simple exterior Google hides some powerful features, here’s one of them:

Use Google to find dictionary definitions: Anytime you come across a word or term that you’re not familiar with you can use this powerful feature to get a definition from Google. Just go to the usual Google search page and type define: followed by the word you want to look up. You will get back a list of definitions from various reference websites.
